As part of the campaign for the creation of the Conciencia Afro Cultural Center, Angélica Dass will give a workshop in which she will share her educational experiences with Humanae and each attendee will make their own self-portrait. We count on you to make this dream come true.

The mission of the Centro Cultural de Conciencia Afro is to promote the creation and dissemination of African and Afro-descendant cultures in Madrid, becoming a point of reference in our society.

Embajadores neighbourhood will be our headquarters, but now we need your support to fit it out and prepare it to become a space to amplify the dreams and realities of African and Afro-descendant people, bringing together politics, aesthetics, poetry, music, dance, social entrepreneurship and critical pedagogies among other disciplines.

This initiative has existed in an itinerant and collaborative way since 2016, promoting initiatives such as the online magazine Negrxs, the Espacio Afrofeminista, the free legal aid service, the educational team Afronterixs, the creation library and, of course, the Festival Conciencia Afro, which this year celebrates its 5th edition as part of the residency at the Centro de Creación Contemporánea de Matadero Madrid.
